Emergencies
White Mountain Animal Hospital works with other area veterinarians to ensure that there is always a doctor available for after-hours emergency care.
If you are concerned about your pet’s health or have an emergency, you can call our after hours technician advice line, number available when you call our office at 928-368-8425, and follow the directions on our answering service. A technician will be available to answer any questions and advise you in your pet care situation after regular office hours until 10pm, then again after 6 am. If you have an emergency between the hours of 10pm and 6 am, please call one of our preferred referral clinics in Flagstaff: Canyon Pet Hospital at 928-774-5197, or Veterinary Emergency & Specialty Center of Northern Arizona at 928-779-5522.
If you place an emergency call, be sure to leave a detailed voicemail. Our technician is instructed to screen incoming calls for true emergencies, and cannot do so without adequate information. If you do call & leave a message, please remember to stay off your phone line so the covering veterinarian or technician will be able to reach you within 15 minutes. If your call hasn’t been returned after 15 minutes, try again.
